Dr. Elizabeth Rosolowsky is a Pediatric Endocrinologist at the Stollery Children's Hospital and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. She is the Zone Clinical Section Chief and Divisional Director for Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism. Dr. Rosolowsky obtained her Medical Degree and completed her Pediatrics Residency at the University of California San Francisco. She then went on to complete her Pediatric Endocrinology & Metabolism fellowship at the Boston Children's Hospital where she simultaneously completed a Masters of Public Health in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her clinical and research interests focus on children living with type 1 diabetes mellitus, particularly in creating innovative ways to deliver patient-centred care. She participates in several national diabetes research collaborations including TrialNet and the CanScreen Consortium. Dr. Rosolowsky is also a passionate educator, for which she has received many teaching awards, including the 2024 Canadian Association for Medical Education Certificate of Merit Award. She is currently the Director for Teacher Support for the University of Alberta MD Program and the Chair of the CSEM Continuing Professional Development Committee.
