Maya Nehme is a registered dietitian (RD) currently completing her masters degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Montreal. Her research focuses on better understanding and classifying latent autoimmune diabetes in adults, also known as LADA. Her studies are based at the centre of research of the University of Montreal Hospital Research Centre (CRCHUM) in affiliation with the TYPE 1 BETTER project. She will be presenting Diabetes Distress Among Persons Living with Latent Autoimmune Diabetes of Adults in the Canadian BETTER Cohort: A Cross-Sectional Study.
