I'm Danish Malhotra, a second-year MSc Pharmacy student at the University of Manitoba working under the supervision of Dr. Lucy Marzban. My research focuses on diabetes and metabolic disorders, specifically on the role of amyloid in islet inflammation and beta-cell death, aiming to identify novel therapeutic strategies. I’ve been recognized with several awards, and scholarships including College of Pharmacy MSc Scholarship and Dean of Rady Faculty of Health Sciences Award for excellence.
