Fred Melindy is the Director of eDOCSNL, the provincial EMR program in Newfoundland and Labrador. He has a background in Primary Care, having trained as a Family Doctor at Memorial University and practiced for 7 years before transitioning to Digital Health. He has been leading efforts by the eDOCSNL team to fully leverage the Clinical Decision Support capacity of electornic solutions and reduce administrative burden to the benefit of patients and providers in NL through the Practice 360 initiative, in collaboration with Diabetes Canada and other national guidelines organizations.
