Dr. Mokashi completed her medical training at the University of Alberta, Pediatrics at the University of Saskatchewan. She completed a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at McGill University and has been on faculty since Oct 2003. Dr. Mokashi is currently an associate professor in the department of pediatrics at, Dalhousie University and Division chief of pediatric endocrinology and metabolism at IWK Health in Halifax.
In addition to a general endocrine and diabetes practice, she is the medical director for the trans health endocrinology clinic for children and youth. Her research interests include gender affirming care.
